Our services

Drying

Whether your building has been affected by a small escape of water or severe flooding, it is important to understand how different materials react with various methods of drying and ensure a suitable drying set up is configured.

National Disaster Restoration will first complete any necessary mitigation works whilst completing our initial damage assessment. We will then structure a plan to dry your building as effectively and efficiently as possible, without any unnecessary delays.

There is a vast amount of scenarios and underlying issues which can determine the moisture readings on certain materials within a building. It is extremely important for a drying specialist to possess the correct knowledge, identify the purpose of each material and lead the restoration process. National Disaster Restoration will ensure satisfactory restoration of your property and enable the reinstatement element to commence without complications.

Mitigation works

Here at National Disaster Restoration, we are experienced with all claim natures and will dedicate our time to help you through the stressful situation you are experiencing.

When your buildings or contents have been affected by fire or water contaminants, it is important for the appointed restoration specialists to mitigate where necessary and understand how to help prevent secondary damage.

Whatever the type of damage or contamination your property is suffering, we offer a variety of services, restoration methods and an extensive knowledge base to ensure your property is safe to occupy where possible.

We will always look to complete crucial mitigation works on the same day as our initial damage assessment visit, as long as all parties involved are in agreement to do so.

Asbestos Containing Materials

Asbestos was commonly used within a range of materials when constructing buildings prior to the year 2000. The UK government officially banned the use of asbestos in 1999, due to the harmful material proving to cause various health issues.

When buildings have been damaged, it is important to understand the materials contained within the construction and identify any potential asbestos exposures.

National Disaster Restoration understands the importance of safely working around asbestos containing materials. If we identify a potential ACM has been affected or will be impacted during restoration works, a sample will be taken and sent to a laboratory for testing. Rest assured, the ACM will be safely encapsulated to ensure the safety of the building occupants, pets and visitors.

Contents Restoration

Here at National Disaster Restoration, we understand your contents are equally as important as your building. We possess specialist decontamination materials and equipment, advanced restoration techniques and the knowledge to restore your damaged items to their pre-loss conditions.

National Disaster Restoration will perform any necessary mitigation works to help prevent any secondary damage whilst completing our initial damage assessment.

If any items should be non-restorable, we will individually itemise them and provide an inventory of contents which are beyond economic restoration. These items will be disposed only after receiving written authorisation from all parties involved.
